Channeling Dr. Smith
I recently saw a snippet of a “Lost in Space” episode.
I forgot that Dr. Smith is such a raving queen.
Such shrieks! Such swishy hand gestures!
And the sarcastic remarks and bitchy complaints!
Dr. Smith, Witchipoo. Hoodoo (from Lidsville), and Bugs Bunny shaped my childhood.
Maybe in 2007 I should get in touch with my “inner-Dr. Smith”?

Ahh Dr. Smith...The first Gay man in outer space!!! I remember him almost flying off the screen by his hand gestures. I also loved H.R. Puff n Stuff!
If you do find your inner Dr. Smith, come on with the bitchy sarcastic remarks, but not the hand gestures
Witchipoo! She had such a great fashion sense.
Now why would you want to do that?
He wasn't a nice person and I don't think anyone liked him.(Asshole comes to mind):)
I don't think there's an "inner-Dr. Smith", in one bone of your body.:)
Happy New Year!!!

And even if he was good, why would you be flaming?!
Flambé is for food, not you!?
Stay as you are.
We love you the way you are!?
Like all of us, life's a bitch...
We cope!?
Mr. Smith made the show for me. I need to revisit it.
Have a Happy and Safe New Year!!
Danger, Will Robinson!
That was a funny, funny show.
Happy New Year to you, beloved physician.
As long as you don't start calling me a Bubble-Headed Booby, I'm okay with you getting in touch with your inner-Dr. Smith.
O My Goodness! I used to love, "Lost in Space!" He was one of the first 'gay characters' I remember on television. Even though he wasn't technically out of the closet. I'm glad I came by - as I see you had no problem getting a picture up! I've been out, all day - and never got a chance to email you. At any rate - Happy New Year's!
I've never seen Lost In Space although I think I am old enough to have at least been around when it was on.
Witchiepoo on the other hand I loved. I remember that show very fondly.
LOL I used to watch LiS religiously as a kid. At the time, I never realized Dr. Smith was gay. I just thought he was evil. Given that, I'm surprised I didn't grow up hating myself.
I loved Lostin Space. Still, I'd rather channel my inner Dr. Bombay. He had the fabulousness without the social pathology.
Doug T. Blogger doesn't like me right now.
I always thought of Dr. Smith as a querulous invalid who constantly wants to be catered to. Seeing him as gay -- in fact, gayer than hell -- suddenly explains why ultra-masculine Don West hated his living guts.
I don't have an inner Dr. Smith, I hope. I cherish my inner Genghis Khan however.
