Someone's Pumpkin

Every year I try to care different faces and pictures on my pumpkins.
In contrast, Someone always carves the same face - the one on the left.
I used to find this puzzling or even 'no fun' that he does the same face every year x 10 years.
Now I find it a comfort. I look forward to 'the face' as an annual event.
By the way, the two green monster like plants are little barrel cacti.
This is last year's pumpkins. Tonight we carve 5.

I can relate to "Someone", I'm a traditionalist when it comes to carving pumpkins. Have a great time.

I love that the barrel cactus are wedged in with the pumpkins. I like "someone's" face...he must be a creature of habit...there is a lot of comfort in that.

I can't wait to see pictures of this years pumpkins. You have been talking about this for weeks. The suspense is killing me.

I enjoy the creativity demonstrated in your pumpkin faces.
It's ironic that what once perhaps irritated you has become a source of comfort, because He's there, every year, carving the same silly pumpkin face.
But he's there.
And that's enough, isn't it?

Is the one in front a redition of "The Scream"? I like it!
