I am hoping that he has a good time among his relatives. I always seem to, no matter how distant I've been feeling from them lately.
While my blog has been so cathartic for me, it has also made me feel alienated somewhat. But I think it will be a good thing.
It makes me feel happy that he is going to be a part of a family he loves and is going to love him... for a very special event...
I never learned the "Hokey-Pokey."
I think we should just videotape the entire thing, and share it on your blog...then we'll tell you how we feel over a bowl of popcorn :) Have fun!

No no bring the writer back. we would miss him too much.
Hopeful that he has a great time, and can be himself among the ghastly assortment of maiden aunts and other people's children who pick their noses. Hopefully you and Someone will be caught making out in the kitchen when everyone is in the next room to enjoy it with you.
And please make sure to have passionate, raucous, LOUD sex while you're there. Just because it's the right thing to do.
