How Does That Make You Feel?

Arizona defeated our ‘one man/one woman’ proposal.
The first state ever to do so.

We re-elected a Democratic governor and have more Dems going to Washington.

The House is ‘blue’ and the Senate is ‘bluer’.

What changes! Arizona is more purple.

How does that make you feel?

I'm happy.
Personally, I don't feel that same-sex marriages should have been an issue in the first place. Why it ever was is beyond me.

WOO HOO! That's how I feel! I have never been so proud to be an Arizonan! Hopefully this will slowly break away the stereotype of Arizona being a conservative-Republican-stick-in-the-mud state!

The downward path that leads to GWB started in Arizona with Barry Goldwater. If Arizona can change direction, any place can. Maybe we'll be able to save ourselves from ourselves.

I feel good about it, although I'm extremely disappointed about the racist "official" language law, and the biased, ineffective educational policies espoused by the state. We're still a biased state in many ways.
But I'm encouraged. The Fascist tide seems to be receding a bit. Now we can begin the arduous work of undoing the damage that has been done.

Stunned! When I think Arizona I think of conservatives, McCain, and Mormons. So, I was stunned to hear about this. Of course I'm also thrilled and excited that I can start thinking differently of Arizona because it's a beautiful state.

I spell "relief" A-R-I-Z-O-N-A. Especially after Michigan passed the proposal this week banning all forms of affirmative action.

Yippppppeeeee. Congrats on the blueing of your state. It redefines the meaning of Blue Christmas. But our work is not done. So we can only rest for a while.

I think many people are still shocked. But change has been in the wind for a while and long overdue.
