January Shirt
It is a new month – and a new year!
May it be a good one for all of us.
January’s shirt is my Yellow Shirt. I made it specifically for my upcoming trip to Costa Rica. I call it the ‘3 Bs” shirts – Boys, Butterflies, and Bears – as it has some of each on the yoke. I like the colour yellow; it is a very cheerful colour.
January is usually the month when I start to organize the seed catalogs and put together a garden. Now that I live in Arizona, I start my garden now. This year I am using collected seeds from previous years. I am taking a chance to see if anything germinates. I will limit my garden to peppers (sweet and hot) and tomatoes.
I do a ‘year’s spread’ of the Tarot; one card/month. I now have enough decks to pull one card for each month.
The Tarot Card of the month of January is the Strength card. And just in time; I am not feeling too strong these days so I will focus on what strengths I have.
I look forward to a year of blogging, and hearing how everyone else’s year goes.

Love the shirt - the yellow is great! And I sure hope I can get some of that strengh vicarously from this post...
Hope your garden is a smashing success!
That's a great shirt--I love anything that doesn't make a man look like every other man in the street. Society should allow men the same kind of individuality in personal adornment it allows women--and men should DEMAND it!
Yellow is Fritz's favorite color and it looks great on him. Actually, he's easy to shop for because I've yet to find a color that DOESN'T look good on him.
I wish you both a wonderful 2007!
LOVE the festive shirt! Happy New Year Michael! I'm looking foward to reading about all of the changes in your life in 2007
First...Love the shirt!! Second Happy New Year! and finally...courage and energy is a great way to start the new year and if it means a steadfast friend, well, you have lots of those!!!
Happy New Year :)
I LOVE the color yellow, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
There have been times in my life that I have been so weak, emotionally and physically, that I didn't think I would survive. I've learned to draw strength from inner sources that I didn't even know exsisted.
You are a strong man and I look forward to your blog in the New Year with anticipation and hope for us all.
That's the coolest shirt. What a great hobby.
I've thought about gardening, because working with my hands is so calming, but I've never gotten into it. I do a little woodcarving now and then though.
yellow is an energetic happy color, the perfect one for a trip. On the plus side, 'someone' will never have to look hard to find you in a crowd.
Strength is a good card to start the new year out on.
Great shirt! I bet you look wonderful in it. My son looks awesome in yellow, but he prefers to wear dark colors (mainly black). I am hoping it's just a phase.
Happy New Year.
That is one loud shirt! What color are the pants?
You should do a tarot reading for me. (Did I spell that right? I first typed tartot.) Anyway, I'd like some advance notice if it isn't good.
I was thinking if you and Doug in the shower this morning BTW. *LOL* Really I was!
best wishes!
Happy New Year, Spo! :)
Happy New Year SPO!?
What's up with the needing strength?!
Someone told me, he's from Phoenix, to shade your tomatoes with a sail or something like that. It helps.
Tell your Someone to take good care of you!? Or we'll come down and...
That shirt is so awesome! I absolutely love it!
Wishing you extra strength as the new year gets rolling. *hugs*
Did you have this one in PS in November? It looks familiar. It might just be the subject matter- they're three of my favorite things in the world.
Doug (Blogger still doesn't like me)
Love the shirt. You do such nice work.
